Camped here for 11 years. On a specific spot. Did not have to move camper. We came down on weekends. No problems with past management. New management takes over due to death of prior manager. Monthly fees start going up. Asked why. Fee refunded. Must not have been able to charge the fee. If i had not asked then we would have been paying fees which they could not charge. they did not have an answer to my question.We have been kicked out. All because i asked new management what the fees were. We were given our money back and given 10 days to move our camper and dismantle our deck. Also wanted to know why people can live there and pay same monthly fee as the campers who come on.the weekend. Did not seem right. Contacted county manager who informs me that the management at oconee springs decides who stays and who goes. I think that is discrimination. We have been there with no issues. Even have family there for many, many years. We were on the water and county decides to move the campers off this specific location. I understand changes. We were not offered the next spot that became available even though the people.who got it have been there less than 10 years.Because i asked questions they did not like we were sent a letter and kicked out. New management told us and other relatives that we would have a spot. I can not recommend campground to anyone. Do not trust new management. Use to be the best kept secret on Lake Sinclair. Miss the old oconee springs.
Staff very very helpful and friendly the site can't do this place justice or the staff enjoyed my visit
County run park,friendly staff, nice beach, boat ramp.
Great fishing. Only problem I have is ally of boaters have little respect for fishermen
