I so enjoyed Ms. Georgia, she made our visit so fascinating with all the stories and history she knew. So sad most never see or understand the true history and how important this little southern towns were.

Loved Ms Georgia telling us the history of the Uncle Remus stories and about the museum. Her excellent story-telling talents helped me remember so much verbatim. So many wonderful artifacts there as well.

A true hidden gem. For those who remember hearing the tales of Brer Rabbit and his friends, this is a MUST SEE museum. The museum if 3 buildings, 2 of them are original slave cabins that were transported there and put back to together and the 3rd part of the building is an actual wing of the plantation where the original Uncle Remus stories were written. Original memorabilia and artifacts.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah!!!!!!! There's an actual museum dedicated to Uncle Remus!!! Took a look around the gift shop area. It costs $5 to get in to see the actual museum. I didn't have time to go inside. They do sell DVD copies of the movie which is really hard to find.

Was in town for work, so on the weekend, we decided to get out and do a little sightseeing. Had several things on our itinerary, the Uncle Remus Museum in Eatontown was by far my fave! Really enjoyed it!
