Good food and friendly staff
UPDATE:. My wife and I returned to The Pizza Place on Friday October 13th 2017 at around 5:45. This time we ordered from the menu. We had the Extra Ronni pizza. It was delicious. Krista, our server was delightful. As on our last visit, fast friendly service, great food and nice atmosphere. I can find nothing bad to say. We'll be back.
The buffet contained a modest, but more than adequate salad bar, a very good assortment of whole sliced pizza and two flavors of chicken wings. As pizza was removed from the table it was quickly replaced. There was always a good selection of pizza available. We were able to completely deplete the chicken wings, but they were replenished promptly.
This review is for our visit Thursday, September 21, 2017. This is The Pizza Place's all-you-can-eat buffet night. We arrived around 6:30 pm and the place was busy - a good sign.
Back to the table for the fun part, eating. In a word - delicious. I tried both wing flavors, six pizza flavors and the dessert pizza. The pizza is the star of the show, but the wings are really good too. The pizza is cheesey, covered with toppings and all on a delicious crust. I've never had better pizza. The wings are baked instead of fried, but that doesn't distract from the flavor. Both wing flavors are very good and I would go there just for the wings. The dessert pizza is reminiscent of a sopaipilla flavor on a pizza crust. It too was very good. I ate several slices.
All you can eat lunch
Great food for great price with tremendous service. They have all you can eat pizza bars for lunch and all you can eat wings on Thursday nights for good prices.
The six of us were greeted at the door with a friendly "y'all come on in." The good service and friendly demeanor continued throughout our visit. We were seated immediately. Our drink orders were taken and we were off to the buffet.
We all made several trips to the buffet. During that time our glasses were never allowed to go empty. The servers tended to us in a friendly but unobtrusive way. They couldn't have been better.
Finally, payment time. The buffet is a very reasonable, cheap for the area $10.99. The large selection of menu items are just as affordable. Pictures of their menus are in the photos posted here.
We left happy and a "Thank y'all for coming" followed us out the door. Great folks, great food and great service, what more can you ask? I'm looking forward to a regular night and off the menu food. Try The Pizza Place. You'll be glad you did.
